The Calathia plant with the beautiful patterned leaves, also known as the prayer plant has some of the most highly-decorated foliage found in nature. It is the perfect low-light plant for your home. Prayer plants open and close depending on the time of day and the available light, hence the name, as it folds it leaves in an palm to palm gesture.
Prayer plants enjoy a humid environment so spray farely often with a humidifier.
